Interior Painting

When we come into your home to do an interior painting project, I expect myself and my guys to treat your home like it was ours.  Our goal on every job is extraordinary quality and service.

Our interior painting process is as follows:

Step 1.  We will start by moving the furniture away from the walls.  We do ask that the homeowner move as many small objects and  breakables prior to us arriving.

Step 2.  Cover and mask all floors and furniture.  On all hardwoods we we use a very expensive chemically resistant covering, and we don’t uncover until the project is complete.

Step 3.  Remove all switch plate and plug covers, curtains, blinds, and any heavy wall decor you may not have been able to get to.

Step 4.  Next we caulk any gaps between woodwork and walls or ceilings, fill nail and screw holes with spackle.

Step 5. For larger cracks we usually use fiberglass tape and then texture match to your current texture.

Step 6.  Fresh texture and water stains are primed with either an oil-base or water-base primer.

Step 7.  Now let’s paint!  For walls and ceilings we provide up to 2 coats, for super dark or light colors up to 3 coats.  On trim and doors we use 1 coat of Sherwin Williams Pro Classic Satin oil-base, or 2 coats of Sherwin Williams Emerald Urethane water-base trim paint.

Step 8.  Thorough clean up.  We take all of our trash with us and never want to leave a mess behind.

Step 9.  Walk the job with your lead painter to insure the job is completed to your satisfaction.

Our crews our like family, and we’ve been working together for years.  We know what it takes to get the job done right, on time, and on budget.  Try us out on your interior painting project and you will not be disappointed.
